On Windows

1. On your PicoGear receiver, press and hold the DOWN key, while powering up the receiver.
   This will force the firmware update mode.
2. Connect the receiver to your PC – it will appear as a removable USB drive.
3. In the Windows Exporer, right-click on the receiver drive and select “Format”:
   
   Make sure you are selecting the right drive! The size should be roughly 700KB.
4. Leave the default options and format the drive as FAT format.
   
5. Copy the new firmare fw_rx2.par to the newly formated drive.
6. Make sure to properly eject the USB drive.
7. Press OK on the receiver to finish the udpate. You will need to re-pair your microphones.

On MacOS

1. On your PicoGear receiver, press and hold the DOWN key, while powering up the receiver.
   This will force the firmware update mode.
2. Connect the receiver to your Mac – it will appear as a removable USB drive.
3. Start the Disk Utility:
   
4. Select the PicoStream partition:
   
5. Choose the Erase tab:
   
   Make sure you are not formatting another drive!
6. Click Erase.
7. Copy the new firmare fw_rx2.par to the newly formated drive.
8. Make sure to properly eject the USB drive.
9. Press OK on the receiver to finish the udpate. You will need to re-pair your microphones.
